Yesterday I received my Truly Yours April box and I was hoping it would be better than last month, because last month I was pretty disappointed by the box. The box was just not my thing. Of course I did the unboxing on-camera so you can see what my first impressions were of the box.

Truly Yours ft. Viva + Miss Lipgloss Unboxing

I received this box about over a week ago. I decided to buy this box because I was hoping it would be better than their previous box. And I was not disappointed, this box however was 25 euro plus shipping which was €2.95 so all in all this box almost cost 30 euros. So I was hoping it would be worth it.

MissLipGloss is one of the largest Dutch Beautyblogs and she was launching a beauty book that would be included in the box as well. I wanted the book and as said it would be including some of her personal favorite products.

I decided not to film an unboxing video, because this box is not available anymore as it is sold out. And for the people who are curious about the box, I thought I would do a blogpost on it.

Not only did I receive the book but also a magazine with the blogger on the cover.

The entire contents

The book, fit perfectly in the box. Retails for € 17.95, I wish it had a hardcover instead of it being a paperback.

The Macadamia Natural Oil Deep Repair mask, super excited to try this one out. I heard so many good things about it. Retails for € 16.10

Andrélon, Get the Volume powder. I have always wanted to try out one of those volume powders. Retails for € 4.99

Make-Up Studio, blending sponge. Great sponge to receive a flawless foundation face. Retails for € 10.90

Bourjois Rouge Edition lipstick in 15 Rouge Podium. A very pretty vibrant red with the slight shimmer.

The extra, Snowberry night cream sample. I like the Snowberry brand, I just wish the sample would be bigger.

The total value of this box was; € 62.93 plus the magazine of € 2.95 makes the total € 65.88

Glossybox & Truly Yours January Unboxing Videos

Today I uploaded a total of 3 videos onto my channel. For the first one I will create a seperate post as I put a lot more effort into that one.

The other two I recorded really quickly and did some quick editing and then waited for the rendering to be completed which took as always forever!! But today I came back from the gym and both Glossybox and the Truly Yours box were waiting for me as I got home. I was super excited and had to open them both right away so I figured I would do it on camera. Even though I was still in my gym outfit and had not showered yet... I know eeeeewwwwhhh lol. So I apologize in advance for my appearance.

The Glossybox, which I kinda knew was going to be a Valentine's edition so I was looking forward to that.

3 Dutch Beautybox Unboxings

if you follow me on my YouTube channel you must have seen the videos already as I was uploading them in the last 2 days. But I know some of you are not subscribed to my YouTube channel yet but are still curious on what I receive in my beautyboxes that I am subscribed to. I always like to see what other countries put in their beautyboxes.

These 3 boxes all arrived days after each other. I thought it was a bit much having them all in 1 week. But then again it felt like Christmas almost every day last week.

The first one is the Glossybox of course this was the holiday edition and the box was silver. If you were wondering what the value of this box was please do check the downbar, I forgot to edit it in.

The second unboxing that I uploaded is the Beauty ByVicky December box, I have to say the most disappointing one out of all 3. I have not been impressed by any of their boxes and after 3 boxes I thought it was enough and cancelled my subscription.

The last one is the Truly Yours, in the video I said I was quite happy with the box. But looking at it and seeing if they did put extra effort in the box as a holiday box. I have to say it is ok, I expected more from them. Although they did tell me that they were going to replace my miniature perfume I received with another one.

Ok I have to make 2 seperate posts so people won't be confused about this. It is an unboxing video of a sample subscription service this sample subscription service is currently only available in the Netherlands but I always like watching these unboxing videos because it gives me a good comparison of the different sample boxes different countries provide.

This subscription was € 12.95 a month but has now raised their prices to € 14.95 not only Truly Yours did this but Glossybox as well. If you have watched my last couple of unboxing videos of Glossybox you know that I have not been very pleased with their service. I have now cancelled once again, because it has been costing me too much money whilst I don't really need their service for their products they provide.

Anyhow here is my Truly Yours unboxing judge for yourself which one you prefer.

Truly Yours August 2012 Box Review

If I am correct this week I will be receiving my Truly Yours September box, the people who live outside of the Netherlands and don't know my unboxing videos. Truly Yours is a sample subscription service just like glossybox and birchbox. The price was € 12.95 per month but they were forced to raise their prices as well to € 14.95 but I got the opportunity to sign up now for their normal price of € 12.95 per month until I stop my subscription. Which first of all is really nice of them, glossybox never gave me the opportunity to do that. 

Besides you will notice that I like the Truly Yours boxes much more than the Glossybox because the products in the Truly Yours are far better than Glossybox. Both in size and the variety of products and also their customer service is spot on. I am in regular contact with them through my twitter and facebook account.  I have seen other people asking questions and they usually answer within hours except weekends of course.

Anyhow on to the review part of this post which was the entire intention.

First product in this box was the Snowberry Smoothing Eye Serum. It says, good things come in small packages and this certainly was small. The sample size was only 7ml but to think that the full size is 15ml this sample was a great size. This product originates from New Zealand and I was super excited to try this out because I have never heard of this brand before and also because it is from New Zealand, not a lot beauty products are from there. It is an eye serum containing the New Zealand snowberry and it reduces under eye bags and fine lines. I have to say I love this product, it is just great product, the consistency is more of a cream not a runny serum. But I prefer that cream consistency much better because it smears better and also you use less product.

Sample Size worth € 29.40 7ml (Full size is € 63.- 15ml)

The second product was the Weleda Rosa Mosqueta vitalizing face moisturizer, as the name says it is roses. I have to say the scent of this product was way too strong for me and therefore I only sampled a tiny bit of it. Because even though I don't mind rosy scents this was too overpowering rosy that I could not stand the smell of it. So I did not use it. I did receive a full size product.

The third product was the Weleda Rosa Mosqueta night moisturizer, as the daily moisturizer once again I did not care for this product so I did not even open it to try.

The fourth product was something I could use after 2 not for me products. It was the impulss nail polish in the color 009. It is a very nice dark blue color with silver running through, so in some lights it kinda looks grey. I love it! I put it on my toe nails to try out because my finger nails are still in summer mood lol.

The fifth product was the Korres Guava showergel, even though this was only sample size it was a deluxe sample. I have been wanting to try out something by Korres because I heard great things about the brand. And I have to say this showergel did its work, it smells really good, if you like that guava and nature mix. It is an unique scent but I like it, not too overpowering.

The last product in the box was an extra and it was a sample of the new Marc Jacobs Dot perfume, the scent is floral with its main component being jasmin. It is quite nice but don't think it will become 1 of my favorites.

Overall this box was great if you like the Weleda moisturizers because those two were full sizes and just one of them paid for the box already. The eye serum is a nice new product to try out and the nail polish, I can never have too many nail polishes. 

I think with the products that I do not use or just tried out once from my boxes, I will collect and giveaway at some point when I think I have enough products. Of course I will put it one of the boxes so it will actually look like a beauty box.

So overall this box has a value of € 69.21 which does not include the Marc Jacobs sample, I have to say this is a great value for a box that only costs € 12.95 I just wish the Weleda stuff didn't stink that much lol. What do you think of the contents of this box?

Getting Creative Sample Box Edition

Yesterday I was looking at my pile of empty boxes from my Truly Yours subscription and thought I could make my own little organization storage set with these empty boxes. And this is the result of it.

Last photo I took with the flash on.

I stored a couple of things in it, like my back up mascaras, some makeup sponges, fake lashes. I could only store light weight things in it otherwise the drawers would not pull in and out as easy.

My May Glossy Box & Truly Yours Box Favorites

So I thought, I have to wait until Tuesday because they don't deliver on Monday. But I was very excited when the doorbell rang and I saw the box with the cute Truly Yours sticker on it.

Upcoming Soley Heal Balm Review

Hi dolls,

The other day I won a small competition with Truly Yours, the company I usually get my monthly subscription box from. And I won the Soley healing cream it contains Icelandic herbs, so I am pretty excited to start using it and testing it out. Because of all my allergies I have been getting this small spots of eczema on my neck so this is a perfect product to test it out on. Cream is usually used for dry skin, eczema, psoriasis etc. So I am excited to start using it because it is such a natural product. 

This product was actually in the March 2012 Truly Yours box which I just missed. And it is a full size product of 15ml which normally costs 24 euros. Pretty pricey for just a little but if it works, totally worth the price of course.

I love how they put a little ribbon around the product!

Truly Yours May 2012 Unboxing

My other sample box came in today! It feels just like Christmas with these sample boxes. This time it was the Truly Yours box that came in. I have to say I am quite excited about this box. The box's theme is ''Fun & Games'', there were a total of 7 products in it (if you count all the samples).

Review of Truly Yours Box April

So it has been just over a week since I received my Truly Yours box, which is a monthly subscription box with 4-5 samples usually deluxe or travel size and occasional full size products in the box. This post is a review post just to let you know my thoughts about the products I received in my April box which is also my first box.

For the people who have not read the previous post this is what the box looks like, I think it is the same size as the Glossy boxes but instead of the pink it is this mint tiffany box green.
