Merry belated Christmas everyone!
I hope everyone had a great Christmas. This actually was the 2nd time I didn't celebrate Christmas at home. But for Christmas day I went to see my grandparents and spend the day with them. Although they are Chinese they don't really celebrate Christmas. But it was nice to have a home cooked meal. And to actually have 3 meals a day instead of my usual 1 or 2 meals a day. I know it is not healthy but that is sometimes all I seem to have time for.
But it was nice to spend some time with family. Although I miss my family back home, I wish I could spend my holidays with them but unfortunately that is not possible. Also most of my friends have all left me so they could go home or go on their trips. In this big city of 20 million people it does get lonely sometimes.
But 1 of my room mates did get me this stocking filled with all kinds of goodies for Christmas.
I also had a lot of fun doing the Christmas shopping, there was quite a few sales already going on so I had fun doing some personal shopping as well. I think I spend way too much money on my shopping. So I will have to put myself on a budget again after all this shopping.
Anyways, hope all of you have happy holidays!

Almost Christmas time in Shanghai
So I have finally decided to blow some new life in this blog of mine starting today. I actually don't know if I will be able to keep up but I will definitely try.
It has been a very long time since I last did a blog post but finally it is here! I actually should've posted more especially considering what I have been up to in the last couple of months. I have been doing some volunteer work for both my university and this organization called Rotaract (more on that later), I have an internship with an events company here in Shanghai which has been quite interesting to say the least. I have also been to India to attend a wedding of my former roommate and close friend, which has been A-MAZING!!! I should actually dedicate a whole post to that, I shall do so in the next couple of days.
Currently I am on my christmas break from work, which I can totally have right now as I have been so busy lately. I have no idea where half of my time goes and when I actually have some time on my hands I figure that I have stuff to do that is important and needs to be done.
Besides all of that I have friends leaving me either for good from Shanghai or going home for the holidays. Which sucks because everyone seems to be gone for the holidays, and Shanghai is luckily still left with some of my friends and also I have my family that will always be here for me. Which reminds me that I probably will visit this weekend so I can have some time with them before I start work again on Monday although I have to work on Friday as well as we are doing this event at Rico Rico at the cool docks in Shanghai called Christmas Suavemente! I am excited as that will also be our company Christmas dinner.
To top off the slight Christmas feeling I have..... COCA-COLA!!!
