I know, you are probably thinking what is going on? Why is she posting on a daily basis all of a sudden. Well to be honest I kind of have found my inspiration and motivation again. It was gone for a very long time and now I have re-found it. To be honest I am coming to my happy place again. The past couple of months/year has been really tough. More about that for another time.

As you probably have guessed, I love beautyboxes I like the surprise factor and also to get to know new brands. Especially for a small beauty blogger that doesn't get PR samples it is a cheaper way to test out new products.

Although I have seen my part of the downside of all these beautyboxes too. Enough talking lets just get to the boxes already!

Starlooks Starbox February 2014 Unboxing + Swatches

Hello my lovelies,

now finally after waiting for way too long, I have received the February starbox. For those who don't know what Starbox is, it is a monthly subscription service where you will receive full size Starlooks makeup items each month. It costs $ 15.- per month plus shipping and is available worldwide. Also in your birthday month, they usually send you a birthday box too! Just as a bonus.

Now the products that you will receive always exceed in value what you paid for the box. And my experience with Starlooks is that their products are usually really high quality.

Enough blabbing. Lets get to the box itself.

It seems like a pretty good filled starbox for February. Usually the colors can be a total hit or miss.

The first product in this box is this lipstick in Lilu, well to be honest I am not a big fan of gold lipstick but I might be able to use this color for an ombre lip.

The second product in this box is a cream eyeshadow in the color Phaser, it is a purple blue-ish color and to be honest not a huge fan. Just by the texture I can already tell it is going to be a cream shadow that is going to crease like crazy on my lids. Also the swatch I had to do it 2 times in order to get some color pay off, not the best Starlooks product out there.

Now the last product in this box besides the extras is this pigment, and the color is called Wall Street. Now I am not a huge fan of pigments because I always end up with tons of fall out and when I take off my makeup I always find some specks of glitter on my face even after washing. The color is a very dark grey with multi-colored glitters. When I do receive pigments I like to receive vibrant colors so I can play around with for makeup looks. The pigment is very nice quality, but the color is nothing special.

Now for the extras, I received a headband to hold back my hair whilst doing makeup which is always handy. And a quartz crystal, they put this in every starbox so you can collect these and put them in your makeup brushes jar to give your brushes good energy.

Also I received a code for $35.- giftcard. Basically if you join Starbox you will receive an extra gift worth $35.- every 3 months just for being a subscriber. This giftcard you can use on the Starlooks website.. Now what should I buy from them?

Oh yeah before I forget the breakdown of the value of this box. This box has a total value of $ 41.-
Lipstick value - $ 12.-
Cream Eyeshadow value - $ 12.-
Pigment value - $ 17.-

Glossybox March & Glossybox Young Beauty

Hi my dolls,

I have to sincerely apologize for the lack of posts this week. I thought I could prepare a few posts and just post them but apparently I cannot do that for some reason. Unless I really take the time for it which this week has been so busy I have been just doing a lot of things. One of them involves my first day at work. 

After me posting the project samples post I actually took photos of some products I had lined up for review purposes. I guess those posts will be prepared maybe for next week but I am not too sure. Because I will be working most days of the week. I am happy to be busy but I am also a little bit sad because it cuts my time to write for my blog. A good thing is though that I get to try out much more products more thoroughly because I will have to get ready every single day for something and not just slouch around. 

Now I received my March Glossybox on Thursday, I have to say I was pretty excited about this because I knew it's theme was Bio-tiful meaning we would be getting all bio products and all very environmental friendly.

The next unboxing is a special box from Glossybox called Young Beauty this box is specifically aimed towards teenagers and contained all fullsize drugstore products. This box is also cheaper than the normal Glossybox and it was an one-off box so you weren't stuck with a subscription.

This is my latest unboxing and review video of the Lip Factory Inc. beauty kit. It has fast become the beauty kit I look forward to the most each month. 

This month I received mine a little late due to some issues but it made it here regardless. Of course as Valentine's day falls in February it had a small Valentine theme and they included a cute tutorial with your beauty kit.

as I mentioned yesterday I said I uploaded another video yesterday and that is the lip factory inc. January beauty kit unboxing. This has fast become 1 of the boxes that I look forward to the most. If you have seen my December unboxing + review video of this subscription service you will understand why. If you have not seen it yet you can watch it right here.

Now for those of you who are not familiar with www.lipfactoryinc.com it is a monthly subscription service where each month you will receive a beauty kit with the necessities for the look/theme for that month. This subscription service is $22.- USD per month for US and Canada (other countries please contact them), this might seem a little on the higher side of things but believe me you will receive products in that beauty kit that will exceed that value.

On to the January unboxing video, this month it was all about the brows and you will find a few brow products in there. (I think they played into the brow trend very well. Good job Lip Factory Inc.!)

Glossybox & Truly Yours January Unboxing Videos

Today I uploaded a total of 3 videos onto my channel. For the first one I will create a seperate post as I put a lot more effort into that one.

The other two I recorded really quickly and did some quick editing and then waited for the rendering to be completed which took as always forever!! But today I came back from the gym and both Glossybox and the Truly Yours box were waiting for me as I got home. I was super excited and had to open them both right away so I figured I would do it on camera. Even though I was still in my gym outfit and had not showered yet... I know eeeeewwwwhhh lol. So I apologize in advance for my appearance.

The Glossybox, which I kinda knew was going to be a Valentine's edition so I was looking forward to that.

Starlooks Starbox December 2012 Unboxing

Hi everyone!

I hope everyone had a lovely Christmas. I know I enjoyed my time with my family. Did you know it was the very first time none of us had to work this Christmas and we could actually spend it with each other.

Also does everyone celebrate 2 Christmasses? Meaning you got Christmas day on the 25th and in the Netherlands we call it the 2nd Christmas on the 26th. I know UK calls the 26th boxing day, where still loads of people have to work and shops are open for the sales. Here both days are closed and you spend time with the family. I know some of my friends in the US had to work yesterday already. So they only had 1 Christmas day.

Anyhow I am totally getting off topic here. But I am back after my 2 day Christmas break. Did everyone see my Holiday Giveaway? The giveaway post is before this one, and the value is about € 100.-!!
What will you be expecting this week from me? Well I still need to do last Sundays end of the week project samples post (Christmas totally got the best of me), I have a review post or 2 coming up and also I am thinking about filming a haul with what I got for Christmas anyone interested in that?

3 Dutch Beautybox Unboxings

if you follow me on my YouTube channel you must have seen the videos already as I was uploading them in the last 2 days. But I know some of you are not subscribed to my YouTube channel yet but are still curious on what I receive in my beautyboxes that I am subscribed to. I always like to see what other countries put in their beautyboxes.

These 3 boxes all arrived days after each other. I thought it was a bit much having them all in 1 week. But then again it felt like Christmas almost every day last week.

The first one is the Glossybox of course this was the holiday edition and the box was silver. If you were wondering what the value of this box was please do check the downbar, I forgot to edit it in.

The second unboxing that I uploaded is the Beauty ByVicky December box, I have to say the most disappointing one out of all 3. I have not been impressed by any of their boxes and after 3 boxes I thought it was enough and cancelled my subscription.

The last one is the Truly Yours, in the video I said I was quite happy with the box. But looking at it and seeing if they did put extra effort in the box as a holiday box. I have to say it is ok, I expected more from them. Although they did tell me that they were going to replace my miniature perfume I received with another one.

12 Days of Christmas (Day 1) The Lip Factory Inc. Unboxing

I do have to apologize for this and totally missed yesterday. I was so busy yesterday and I don't really plan my blog posts and write them up front unless I know I am busy. So yesterday was a busy day in general when I came back home, I had to edit this video and then rendering it took forever!!! Like literally forever!! By the time it was finished, I started at 5 p.m., it was 1 am and time for me to go to bed and really I did not had the energy to stare at a computer screen much longer and write a meaningful post going along with this video. (Also uploading the video would take another hour)

But I shall stop and you will receive 2 blogposts today relating to the 12 days of Christmas. The first is something that I am extremely excited about and that is the Lip Factory Inc. December Beauty Kit unboxing + review video I have for you. This beauty box is a newcomer on the subscription services scene and their first beauty kit was launched in October. So this is their 3rd box, they offer you a monthly beauty kit that goes along with a makeup look. Basically you receive a box of makeup samples to try out. As the name implies it's main focus are the lips. Good thing I love my lippies so I was super excited to find a bunch of lip products. 

Now you are probably wondering how much is this going to cost me? The beauty kit costs $ 22.- per month and is a monthly subscription service. They send out their beauty kits from Florida, USA so if you are international (like I am. The Netherlands) it will probably take a little bit longer for your package to get to you and you pay some extra shipping. They have great customer service so if you have any questions just send them an email.

I know we just got into December but Starlooks does send out their boxes middle of the month, takes at least a whole week to get to me in the Netherlands (they ship from the US, so yes they ship internationally) and I always want to take my time when receiving something and do a review. Because I don't want to overlook something, I really want to give you an honest review.

Onto the starbox, as every month I am super excited about it. And look at the box of this month, it is leopard print!!! LOVE!!! So even before I opened the box, I already decided I loved it lol.

Hi dolls,

here are my final 2 videos that I recorded along with the previous 4 that I uploaded over the past 2 days. I have to say it is a relief to have all these videos up now, I still however have a couple more review videos to do and then I am done for the list of videos to film that I made whilst I was moving. 

It is funny that before I was moving I hardly had any inspiration to film, and that during the moving time the videos seem to pile up. I have no idea how that happened, well I kinda do because most of the videos that I uploaded these past couple of days were unboxing videos. Anyhow I shall stop ranting and just post the links to my videos.
