Essence XXL Nude Lipgloss Review

Hello dolls,

today I have a review blogpost for you all. I posted an essence nude lipstick review last week and actually have bought the lipgloss as well. So I decided to do a review on the lipgloss too.

There are 4 different shades in the I love nude lipgloss collection of Essence and I decided to get 03 Taste the Sweets, how cute is that name? It looks like a pretty dusty rose nude type of color. And to be honest the other ones look really light and might have not looked as great on me.

Er zijn 4 verschillende kleuren in de i love nude lipgloss collectie van essence en ik heb besloten om 03 Tast the Sweets te kopen. Het ziet er naar uit dat het een roze nude kleur is en alle andere kleuren vond ik niet zo omdat ze wel erg licht leken. En ik wist niet zeker of dat mij wel mooi stond. 

Essence Longlasting Lipstick ''The Nudes Collection'' in 02 Porcelain Doll Review

Today I have a lipstick review for you all. When I first found out about the nudes collection from Essence I was pretty excited. I love my nudes and I know that they would have a nice variety of nudes to suit every skintone. For example real beige nudes do not suit me at all!

This nudes collection is part of their permanent line, So if it is sold out right now, don't worry just check back in your store and you will probably find it.

There are five different shades and I decided to purchase 02 Porcelain Doll as this appealed to me the most.

vandaag heb ik een lippenstift review voor jullie. Toen ik voor het eerst hoorde dat Essence met een nude collectie uit kwam dacht ik oh dit moet ik gewoon proberen. Ik ben dol op nude looks en ik wist dat ze toch wel een mooie lijn zouden hebben met verschillende kleuren nudes, zodat het bij elke huidskleur zou passen. Bijvoorbeel een lichte beige nude kleur staat mij totaal niet! Maakt niet uit wat ik doe.

Deze nude collectie maakt deel uit van Essence hun vaste assortiment. Dus als het is uitverkocht, vrees niet ze vullen het weer aan!

Er zijn vijf verschillende tinten nude lippenstiften in de collectie en ik heb gekozen voor 02 Porcelain Doll omdat deze mij het mooiste leek.

Essence Pure Nude Powder Review (MAC MSF Dupe)

Today I have a review video for you guys. I have not decided whether or not I like to do reviews in this format. Or I should do blog post? I guess I could do both.

I have been testing out a bunch of new products and this is the first of many to follow. I think I have my blogging motivation back on track! 

This review is about the Essence Pure Nude powder, this powder is new to the collection and when I saw it, It totally reminded me of my MAC mineralize skinfinish natural. Essence Cinderella Collection (Full Collection)

I have another very exciting collection to share with you. You probably can tell that I am very excited for the new Cinderella live action movie that is coming out this year from Disney. I love Cinderella it was and still actually is my favorite fairy tale. With all the issues the world and you are experiencing sometimes you just want to escape and feel like a little girly princess all over again.

Now if you find the MAC Cinderella collection nothing for you then Essence might have some things. Essence is also a lot cheaper than MAC, and the quality of Essence is not too bad either. '

This new Essence Cinderella collection will available for a limited time only, from the end of April until May. But looking at the collection and the prices that are coming with it (from € 1.39), I know for certain this collection will not last on the shelves for very long. 

Preview of Essence Cookies & Cream Collection

Hello my lovelies,

today I bring you a preview of an upcoming Essence collection that will be released in March here in the Netherlands. Anywhere else that sell Essence probably will be having this collection either soon or will already have it.

This collection is as you can probably tell by the name of the collection, inspired by cookies and cream colours. So you will be finding a lot of soft vanilla, rose and creamy brown colours. There will be eyeshadows, jumbo eye pencils, lip glosses, a blush, shimmer pearls, nail polishes, a mini nailfile that will smell of cookies and a hand cream that smells of cookies. I have seen the pictures and I might have to buy this entire collection it just looks so good not to have!

So what will you be getting? I will definitely be getting the shimmer pearls and the blush, and probably a bunch of other things too. Love it all too much!! 

Essence Fantasia & Snow Jam Limited Edition Collections

I know I have been announcing and showing you a lot of new products for this month or for next year lately. But I love to keep up to date and also prepare for the new products that I want to buy. 

First up is the Essence Fantasia collection, a collection inspired by fantasy and fairytales. Expect a lot of shimmer!

In this limited edition collection there will be 3 eyeshadows retailing at € 1.99 a piece, 2 metalic eyeliners retailing at € 1.89 a piece, 2 lip laquers retailing at € 1.99 a piece, a highlighter retailing at € 2.99, 4 nail polishes retailing at € 1.89 a piece and eye jewels that stick to your skin for € 1.59

This limited edition will be available in stores now! I think I am going to pick up the highlighter it looks too pretty to pass up!

The next limited edition collection by Essence is called Snow Jam, inspired by Snow season with all the snow bunnies on the slopes. I have to say I am pretty excited because it contains such vibrant colors.

There are 3 different eyeshadows in cream consistency retailing € 2.39 a piece, 2 jumbo duo eyepencils retailing € 1.99 a piece, 2 lipbalms retailing at € 1.59 a piece, 4 nailpolishes retailing at € 1.69 a piece, mini nailfiles for € 1.39 and a 24hour hand protection balm retailing at € 1.99

This limited edition collection will be available from January 2013 onwards for about a month or two. I might pick up a couple of the nailpolishes the eyeshadows don't really appeal to me that much.

New Essence Collections ''Class of 2013'' & ''Twilight Saga''

I was a little bit reluctlant to do this post because the class of 2013 collection has been in stores since this month and the twilight collection... You know I don't really like the entire twilight hype and don't really understand it either. (although I have been watching a lot of vampire diaries lately... that is as far as I will go with the entire vampire theme movies or tv shows)

Anyways I shall start off with the class of 2013 collection. Basically it is inspired by the preppy school look so we have nice neutral tones and some innocent blues. There will be eyeshadow pens, lip tints, nail polishes, a translucent powder, a blush and some hair ties and a cosmetics bag. I shall show you my picks for what I think I would pick up at the stores. If you want all of the images of the products I can make a seperate post about it all.

I think this blush looks super pretty and I like that there is this print in it. With the darker pink and the light pink, if this blush feels as soft as their other blushes. Definitely a love! (retails for €2.99)

This lip tint is described as a nice red which I think should be great for fall the other lip tint in this line is a baby pink which is always nice for a more neutral look. This one is a bit more bold. (retails for € 1.99)

Class of 2013 collection is on sale now at your Essence retailer.

Now on to the Twilight collection, they decided to release a twilight collection to coincide with the release of the final twilight movie. This collection will be consisting of pigments, liquid glitter eyeliner, lipstick, lipgloss, shimmer powder, blush and nail polishes. The colors in this collection are a bit darker with a ton of glitter or so it seems. With some gold glitter to match, because apparently vampires glisten in the twilight movies (or so I have heard). If you want to see the entire collection leave me a comment below so I can create a seperate post.

Now on for my picks if I would purchase any of the products.

If this nail polish is anything in opacity as it is in its bottle then this nail polish would be an absolute show stopper. I think I will actually pick this polish up, it is a nice gold color. The other colors in the collection are darker colors with glitters in them. (retails for € 1.99)

Finally this dark lilac pigment. I think this color will look gorgeous on everyone and it is great for winter and fall. Especially with pigments you can go crazy with the glitter considering it is the holiday season! The other colors in this line are a shimmery gold, black and a multi dark pigment. (retails for € 2.59)

The Twilight collection will be hitting stores in November.

Upcoming: Essence Fall 2012

I have another preview for you guys. Although some of these products might already be in stores!

If you like the budget brand Essence as much as I do, you might have noticed that their nailpolish racks have been very empty and they have been trying to sell the last bits as fast as they can. That is because they have new packaging! So out with the old packaging in with the new packaging.

Just a few of them with the new packaging. (can't show all 44!!) Prices are € 1.69 a piece.

I cannot wait to go out and get me some of these polishes. Super cute!!!

Another new thing are these lipbalms, they come in 4 different colors and I have to say the packaging reminds me of the Maybelline Baby lips (which are still not available here!!!) They are called the Kiss, Care, Love lipbalms. Looks cute, might have to pick up some of those to try out. Prices are € 1.39 a piece.

These were just two of the many new things in Essence Fall 2012 collection. There will be 2 new Stay All Day eyeshadows, 2 new eyeshadow quads, 4 new eyeshadow colors, new mascara, lipstick, lipgloss. Basically they are adding new colors/products to all of their existing colors/products already. I am super excited all of these products will be available in stores from September onwards.

Nail Arts Lovers Assemble!!

I have some exciting news for nail arts lovers and people who want to try out nailart but don't like paying a lot of money for all those special polishes, wands, tools etc.

Essence will be having an entirely new range studio nails collection, which contains white nail hardener, white effect, white rose and white gloss. And other nail care things like cuticle oil, base coats and more. Also nail files all just for the small prices of € 1.39 and up. 

Nail art, Essence will have a double ended dotting tool for € 1.99, a peel off base coat (sounds super interesting), colour changing nail polish with the marker both go for € 1.99. And glow in the dark top coat, a special effect top coat, cracking top coat all go for € 1.89 and then of course they go along with the magnetics trend where the nailpolish goes for € 1.99.

It all sounds super exciting. When will this be in store you ask? These items will be available September onwards. I think they will be in their permanent collection, so if you like something you can go back for more colours!

Preview of the Essence Colour Arts Collection

I actually have a couple of new previews coming up from both Essence and Catrice. Both of these brands release new collections and limited editions as often as MAC cosmetcis does. Sometimes that is very hard to keep up. But I am trying my best. Especially I don't want to write an article right away about the new collection because you will have to wait forever for the new collection. So I am going to try and write the article about a month before the actual release. I think that is reasonable enough.....

Anyways first up is the Essence Colour Arts Collection, this collection will be available in stores from September onwards in The Netherlands our neighbours in Belgium will be getting this collection mid August already. 

This collection is like the name says all about colours and with colours I am saying it is all about pigments! Yes you will be given the opportunity to buy a ton of pigments only a fraction of the price from a MAC pigment. Essence will be releasing 20 colors in this collection, which will cost € 2.49 a piece. Which I think is pretty reasonable. Now I wish I had a handful of the pigments to test out for you but I unfortunately don't so I am waiting until it is in stores and maybe pick up a few. 

Below I just randomly picked 5 colors to show you. 

Along with these pigments Essence will also be releasing, an Eye base, a Lip base and Nail base, so you can choose and create your own little creation with the colors. Both the eye base and lip base will retail for € 1.79 each and the nail base which you can also use as a topcoat will retail for € 1.59. You can also purchase some mixing jars and a applicator to mix your pigments with. Both retailing for € 1.29 each.

Collective Haul July

Hi dolls,

I actually filmed this last week but because of all the other videos I thought I would upload it today also because I have not been feeling too well today and therefore even though I was planning to film a tutorial. I unfortunately won't be able to. Because no one wants to see me like a mess, not a pretty look.

Anyhow it is a collective haul from stuff that I bought over the past 2 weeks or so.
