MAC Year Of The Snake Collection

Hi dolls,

I actually wanted to put up more MAC collection announcements but by the time I realize I need to put them up. The collection have already passed or are sold out. I know I am such a failure when it comes to these things.

But today I can bring you images of the MAC year of the snake collection, this collection will be exclusively sold in just a couple of stores and MAC's own online website.

Most of the products in this collection will have a snake pattern. Now you are wondering why is MAC coming out with a snake collection? This year is the year of the snake for the Chinese (Asian) population, it will mark the end of the Dragon year and going into the Snake year. Chinese people usually celebrate their Chinese new year somewhere end of January beginning of February. I don't know exact dates as it goes by the lunar calendar and so it changes every single year. Celebrations take about a week and public transport (trains and planes) are mental about a week before the Chinese new year or spring festival as some may call it. It is the time to spend with your family. Anyways I am going off topic I wanted to show you the products in this collection.

There are 4 eyeshadow shades in this collection. It is the larger eyeshadow pan. There is ''Once Upon A Time'' (metallic vanilla), ''Aztec Brick'' (frosted true copper), ''Altered State'' (frosted blue purple) and ''Carbon'' which is a matt black.

The next are pigments in the colors ''Brash & Bold'' ( bright magenta) and ''Push the Edge'' (bright purple with pearl).

There will be 3 shades of lipsticks. The colors are ''Freckletone'' (neutral peach), ''Plumful'' (blossoming rose plum) and ''Cockney'' (sheer yellow red with multidimensional pearl).

There is going to be a beautypowder in the shade ''Shell Pearl'' (pale peach with gold pearl)

The last two are a powerpoint eye pencil in Engraved and their Zoom lash mascara in Zoomblack.

This collection will be available in the Netherlands on the 26th of January (dates for your country may vary).

p.s. this was suppose to be up on wednesday but that never happened!! Anyways it is here now.

Herome ''So Undercover'' & ''Stylish Russia'' Collection Preview

Hi dolls,

Herome is coming out with a special collection for the movie ''So Undercover'' which features Miley Cyrus (you know the child star that is now trying way too hard to lose her hannah montana days by almost going as cray cray as LiLo).

Anyhow, Herome drew inspiration from the movie to do a collection of 6 colors to feature in their W.I.C. (World Inspired Colors) line. Because I like the colors in the collection a lot I thought I would share it with you.

The colors are really soft toned colors that will appeal to you if you don't really care for the more darker vibrant colors that are in this season.

So from left to right the colors are Molly, Becky, Bizzy, Cotton, Summer and Sasha.

The next collection Herome is coming out with is the Stylish Russia collection also part of the WIC line. This limited edition collection also has 6 polishes and will appeal to the ones who are gravitating towards the more darker colors. The names of these polishes are inspired by names of cities in Russia.

From left to right the colors are Samara, Kazan, St. Petersburg, Perm, Volgograd and Yekaterinburg.

What do you think of the collections? Which one appeals to you the most?

Catrice ''Upper WILDside'' Limited Edition Collection

Hi dolls,

I have been meaning to write this post a couple of weeks ago showing you a preview of this new limited edition collection by Catrice called ''Upper WILDside'' but I have completely forgotten about it *whoopsies*. Hopefully you can forgive me and I can still show you the collection.

This collection is inspired by the city life combining with the thirst for adventure. It has nice warm colors which are perfect for the fall. There is a total of 4 different products and a beauty bag for this collection. I will show you all the products + names + the recommended retail prices.

Long-lasting cream eyeshadow
This cream eyeshadow suppose to be long lasting and it has a dofer applicator for easy application. The colors look super pretty although I need to go to the stores to check out if they are this amazing. I think these colors are great for the in-between seasons transition colors. These retail for € 3.39 a piece.

C01 Be Aztec!

C02 Urban Outrider

C03 The Place To Be: Prairie

Lip Gloss Stick
The lip gloss stick says it has a gel like texture, it won't be very opaque but gives you a subtle hint of color.
This retails for € 3.89 a piece.

C02 Red Rocks!

C01 Wild, Wild West-Side

Sun Teint Bronzing Gel
This is both for face and body, you might be thinking a bronzing gel for fall? Yes as most of us won't be getting a natural tan this is great to still keep up your tan from the summer. This retails for € 3.99

Ultimate Nail Lacquer
5 colors for this collection, I have to admit these colors would've been great for the summer but they are also great for the fall. These will retail for € 2.59 a piece.

Sorry no color names known. Was given to me very confusing.

The beauty bag will be available for € 3.59 it looks like a cute makeup bag for in your bag but if you already have one. And hate changing it out (I know I do because of all the junk in it) don't really think it is necessary to purchase this.

Upcoming: OPI Germany Collection

Hi dolls,

After the huge succes of the Holland collection OPI had to come out with a new country themed collection. What country is closer to Holland than Germany? Located just east of the Dutch border, I know because I live like right next to it. I can walk to the German border. And whenever there is a storm outside, I get German signal on my phone! lol

Also fun fact the Holland collection was the best selling collection by OPI. But then again who doesn't love Holland ;-)

Anyhow onto the collection.... There will be 12 colors in total for the collection. These colors are absolutely gorgeous. I think it is the perfect transition colors, they are not overly summery but still summer enough and the colors are not overly dark either so not too much of a fall/winter color. But these colors can still go perfectly during those fall/winter months as well.

I will list all the colors with the pictures that goes along with it.

Berlin There Done That (Taupe color)

Danke-Shiny Red

Deutsch You Want Me Baby? (red orangy color)

Don't Pretzel My Buttons (honey beige color)

Don't Talk Bach To Me (lime yellow color)

Every Month Is Oktoberfest (purple color)

Germani-cure By OPI (bordeaux color)

My Very First Knockwurst (pastel pink color)

Nein! Nein! Nein! Ok Fine! (dark olive color)
Schnapps Out Of It! (mauve color)

Suzi & The Dusseldorfs (bright purple)

Unfor-Greta-Bly Blue (saphire blue color)

With every OPI collection, OPI releases a set of minis. In the minis the following colors will appear; Don't Pretzel My Buttons, Nein! Nein! Nein! Ok Fine!, Suzi & the 7 Dusseldorfs and Unfor-Greta-Bly Blue.

Now you are probably wanting to run to the stores and get this collection. But this collection won't be available in stores until end of August/beginning of September. So you will have to wait a couple more weeks.

Which colors will you be picking up from this collection? What do you think of this collection?

OPI's real expensive nail polish!

Hi dolls,

OPI announced that they would be doing a James Bond collection in honour of James Bond 50th anniversary. And now it was revealed that one of the polishes is really special. It contains 18k gold leaf and is actually packaged in a nice shiny gold bottle.

The nail polish is kinda like a top coat like the shatter polishes but gives a much nicer effect. I have seen photo of it and it is so pretty. Now you might wonder what the nail polish would be called? It is called ''The Man With The Golden Gun'' a very fitting name for the polish.

The price however is a bit pricey. I think this polish will be retailing for around 30 US dollars and around 25 euros. Yes I know very pricey, but then again 18k gold is not cheap either so.

Would you buy it?

Amazing for summer, it will be available in stores mid August till mid September. I wish they would bring this collection out a month or two earlier so it would actually be in time for summer because mid August means summer is almost over.

Now onto the collection;

C03 Salsa Cubana
C04 Havana Drum

C05 Take It Mint

 Liquid Shimmer Eyeliner € 2,99

C01 Brown

Ultimate Nail Laquer € 2,49
C01 Sunny Side

That was the entire collection, what do you think of the collection? Which items do you want to buy? I might pick up salsa cubana, havana drum and the take it mint nail polish. I am not too fond of loose eyeshadows (because of all the fall out) and maybe I will buy the bronzer as well. Let me know what you think?
