Bourjois 123 Perfect Foundation Review *

Hi dolls,

I have a review of a foundation for you all today. When I first heard of this foundation I had to try it because it just sounds too good to be true. So I asked the PR agency to send me a sample of it, I never expected them to send me a full size bottle but they were kind enough to send me one so I can review it for you guys.

This line comes with a foundation and a concealer.

I do have to say when I received the foundation, it was way too dark well it still is. But I managed to make it work, by mixing it with lighter foundations. Also to really review this for you and to see the staying power, I was home 1 day and decided to put it on my fore arm to test the staying power. And I have to say I was pretty impressed and it really is a nice covering foundation. 

On the bottle it says it gives a flawless, even to perfection finish and lasts up to 16 hours. I can confirm it has an amazing lasting power. (tested on my fore arm)

The fornula is a bit thicker but still a nice liquid foundation that blends really well.

That little bit covered my entire hand!

The special thing about this foundation is the fact it contains 3 different pigments hence the name 123 perfect. Those 3 pigments need to help you achieve that flawless finish. 

The first pigment is a yellow pigment that makes your dark circles disappear, so you can use this as a concealer as well.

The second pigmet is a purple pigment that gives you a nice glow. 

The final pigment is a green pigment to even out the redness in your skin. 

All three of these pigments create that flawless look to your face and gives you a nice natural glow.

I do have to admit, the foundation really covers nicely. I wish the color matched my skintone so I could show you (but I look like an oompa loompa if not mixed with a lighter foundation and that kind of knocks the purpose because the lighter foundation doesn't cover as nicely) But I did a before and after shot of my hand using the foundation.

As you can see from the two pictures above, it covered my redness, some of my veines and even my tiny freckles I got on my hand. So it really does cover nicely and I only used not even half a pump of the foundation to cover my whole hand.

The packaging is nice, it is made of glass and it has a pump for easy and clean disposal of the foundation.

This foundation comes in 6 different shades and I received the darkest shade which is 57 ligh brown. So I have had to mix this foundation in order to get some use out of it. It is really nice, I do enjoy this foundation. I might go out and get this foundation in my true color match if I didn't have that much foundation already.

Bourjois: Queen Attitude (Fall 2012)

Just a quick post on this new makeup Bourjois is releasing for fall. I am super excited about this, because I love doing winged eyeliners, although maybe not as extreme as cleopatra. Maybe I should do a Cleopatra makeup tutorial for halloween... Let me know yay or nay in the comments?

Anyways Bourjois will be releasing two new products for this Queen Attitude look. First one is the Queen Attitude Mascara, which suppose to curl your lashes and volumizes them. I don't think I will pick up this one because I have like 5 back up mascaras I need to use! lol

Although I have to say the packaging is super nice with gold and turqoise detailing. Maybe I will pick it up, just for the packaging lol. It comes in two colors Noir Intense which is an intense black color and Brun Or Intense which is a deep brown with gold glow.

The product I am most excited for is the Kohl Queen Attitude. It is a thick kohl pencil that has a lot of pigmentation in it. So it will have that black line immediately and the formula contains no parabens. This one will be available only in black, but Cleopatra only wore black so I can totally understand.

Like the mascara the packaging will have gold and turqoise detailing. But the kohl pencil will also have a satin ribbon at the end. From the pictures this product does not look very big, but I am excited to go out and get this kohl pencil. I love black eyeliners, kohl pencils and liquid eyeliners. Gel eyeliners I have not tried so can't judge that.

So you are asking when can I get my hands on these products? The products should be in stores this week or next week. I know I will be out and getting me 1 of the kohl pencils. Will you be getting any of these 2 products?

Bourjois ''Parisian Lodge'' 2012

Hi my dolls,

Summer has almost come to an end, which sucks but it also means that new collections are being released by MakeUp brands here and there.

I am super excited to tell you about the Bourjois Parisian Lodge Look as they have named it. Basically it is inspired by a woman who is a city amazone, strong powerful woman who is inspired by the world.

First two new smokey eyeshadow trios will be launched. It is the 13 Brun Wood and the 14 Vert Jungle.

The 13 Brun Wood is a very pretty brown with red tints eyeshadow trio. Great to make a natural eyeshadow look or more of a darker look for night. (I think I will be picking this trio up myself)

The 14 Vert Jungle is green with a tine of yellow. I like green but I don't want to look sick. But I do think the trio is pretty but the colors might be hard to work with.

They are also launching a Volumizer extra black mascara for those extra long lashes. I will not be trying this one, as I have 3 full size mascaras to go through lol.

The one that I am probably most excited about is the Intuitive Liner, this black liner has 3 small points as its applicator. I have never seen anything like this before and I am keen to try this out.

They are also launching a new red nailpolish from the So Laque Ultra Shine line in 47 Rouge Défendu. The last thing that they will be launching is the Python Top Coat. Yes you did read it right, Python Top Coat. 

It is a dark red top coat, all you have to do is apply one coat and after a while the python like texture will appear on your nails. (I guess it is just like those crackle polishes, I wonder if it really has that python like texture)

All these new products will be available in stores end of August.
